Dr. Elizabeth Alexander

Dr. Alexander was born and raised in Rhode Island, where she decided at age three that she wanted to be a veterinarian when she grew up. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pathobiology at the University of Connecticut (go Huskies!), followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. She has since worked at clinics in upstate New York, northern California, and the Midwest, following her husband (also a veterinarian!) around the country.

Dr. Alexander’s favorite part of being a veterinarian is not only being able to help her patients feel better when they come to her for illnesses or injuries, but also helping their humans feel better in the process. When she is not at the clinic, Dr. Alexander enjoys spending time with her husband and their fur child, a yellow lab named Griffin. Her hobbies include running, biking, cooking (and trying new foods), reading historical fiction, and binge watching medical and crime dramas.
