Dr. Sloane Robins, born and raised in Miami has had a passion for the veterinary field since the age of five. She began volunteering at her family veterinarian at the age of 12, followed by working as Kennel Staff, Receptionist and Technician before going to vet school. Dr. Robins attended the University of Florida for her Bachelor of Science in 1996 along with graduating and earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2000. After graduation, Dr. Robins interned at Veterinary Specialist of South Florida (currently known as Lead ER Animal Specialist Hospital) for 1 year. Since then Dr. Robins began her own at-home euthanasia service known as “Goodbye at Home." She has volunteered at various cat and dog rescues helping them find forever homes and has been working with Pinecrest Veterinary Hospital since 2015. When not helping or treating her furry patients, Dr. Robins enjoys going to concerts and spending time with family, friends and her furry companions. She currently has two rescue dogs: Susie, Vanilla, and five rescue cats: Sox, Ollie, Mr. Peabody, Whiskers and Beanie. We can definitely can say that animal rescue is one her passions.
